With its clean lines and dramatic vaulted ceiling, the restaurant, bar and lounge area of Double Black is specifically designed to offer an atmosphere of relaxation whilst giving our guests a wide range of entertainment options.

The Restaurant

Our restaurant offers complimentary hot & cold breakfasts for resident guests, with tea and brewed coffee included.  A hard to find commodity in the Hakuba Valley, quality coffee from our very own espresso machine (serving only the best illy coffee - 100% premium Arabica ) is available for purchase.

For dinner, we offer a bistro style dining menu with a Japanese twist. 

Valentine's Day 2024

Our special dinners have always been extremely popular with hotel residents and other visitors to Hakuba and we thank all those who chose Double Black Hotel to celebrate those special nights. We will be holding a Valentine's Day Dinner on 14th February.. The Bar

Our fully licensed bar is proud to present an extensive range of quality beers, spirits and wines from around the world. Our friendly staff would also be happy to show you our cocktail list, including the house specialty, the 'Double Black'. For those with an adventurous palette, we also stock a range of authentic Japanese drinks, including Sake, Plum Wine and a large selection of local beers.

Happy Hour every day from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm with discounts on all of our drinks.

The Lounge

Time to relax, International TV is freely available in our warm and inviting lounge area, enabling guests to keep up on current world affairs as well as those major sporting events.
